13 June 2003 :: House Show :: with The Stunning and Rise or Writhe
(photos by Julee Dunekacke, Tim Scahill, and James Pelter.)

alice expresses her uncertainty; sylvia seems entirely too happy to put on a good show.
alice reads from her livejournal whilst sylvia weaves a tragic melody.
sylvia asks the question every true fangirl wants to know. is that song about me? to add a percussive element, alice cleanses sylvia's aura with a hammer and chisel. the hornrimjobs felt that the violent imagery was balanced by the Marxist symbology.
sylvia's latest cause has to do with the plight of homosexual pigs. the hornrimjobs felt it was important to spread the word, using visual aids to illustrate the problem.
after the show, these boys offered themselves to the hornrimjobs as snacks. sylvia emphatically pointed out that the hornrimjobs are vegan. alice was intrigued.
a fan volunteers the use of his glasses for the next album cover.
post-show. the hornrimjobs prepare to attend a wasteoid performance. they have heard it's somewhat like a drumming circle.

sylvia uses telepathy to try and communicate to the audience the frustration involved with dating a straight-edge boy.
alice cuts handrails, a la scarface during a cover of the Dwarves' "Free Cocaine." the hornrimjobs are too impoverished to afford real drugs, so baking soda had to suffice..
sylvia plays the black and decker cordless drill whilst alice reads from a series of haiku about a naughty dream involving david lynch.
